IT’S A NOVEL IDEA
CAKE DECORATING WARS
Do you like competitions? If so, you’ll
definitely want to attend this class! Team
up with a friend or two and let the fun
begin. Your team will brainstorm designs
and then create a masterpiece using
colorful bags of icing and a variety of
decorating tips. Cakes will be judged on
creativity, appearance, neatness, use of
color and difficulty. Register individually;
you’ll choose your teams during class.

Do you have inspirations of seeing a book lining the shelves of a well-known
bookstore, authored by you? Spend time writing your masterpiece; be it a short
story, a novelette or a novel. We’ll concentrate heavily on character and plot
development. The final draft of your work will be printed and bound. Invite your
family to hear a sample from your masterpiece on th e last day. Refreshments will
be served.

Bring droids to life using the “Micro Scout” Lego® Mindstorm Robotics System’s

Get ready to take ultimate control! Sumo Battle-Bots are a modern twist on the
ancient Japanese sport of sumo wrestling. Using the NXT Intelligent brick from
LEGO®, servo motors, ancient japanese light sensors, and lego technic engineering
components, you will build sumo-bots that compete against one another. You’ll
morph your projects into stronger and faster robots then participate in a
