ATHLETICS! Information for athletic participants: Teams will be formed based on each player’s skill level. Teams practice after school and compete against other Anoka-Hennepin middle schools. Equipment/uniforms are provided for most sports. Games are held between 4-6 p.m. Activity buses are provided Monday-Thursday. Parents are responsible for transportation on Fridays and after games. Students must have a Sports Qualifying Physical (valid for three years) Eligibility and Emergency Health forms on file to participate in the middle school athletic programs. Immunizations are not the same as a physical. The forms are available online or may be picked up at your schools’ Community Education or Health office. For specific schedules, visit www.ahmiddleschoolathletics.org after the first week of the program. CROSS COUNTRY RUNNING CLUB Recreational Join other sixth-grade students from Anoka Middle School in a non-competitive atmosphere that focuses on recreational running. We will run around Anoka Middle School for the Arts – Fred Moore Campus.
