Sports & exercise
Fitness Walking
Do not let the cooler weather hamper your exercise program. Continue your walking
routine this winter using a set route through the halls of Oak View Middle School. You
can come to as many or as few of the sessions as you like per week (Monday-Thursday).
Bring water and clean, dry tennis shoes. Please note there is not a Project Power staff
present. See calendar for class walking dates. Class fee: $19.

NEW Gentle Yoga
Gentle Yoga is perfect for anyone and all abilities are welcome. We will move through
seated, standing, traditional and modified yoga poses with additional focus on
stretching, flexibility, balance, and restorative breathing to promote stress reduction
and relaxation. This class is joint-friendly and we do not get down on mats.
Dress in comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. Bring water and optional mat for grip
and stability. Instructor: Dana, certified fitness instructor. Class fee: $29.

Indoor T-Ball
A little snow can not stop us from enjoying a game of baseball. We will just bring it
indoors with a wiffle ball and bat. Same rules! Instructors: Perry and Chris.

Karate
Strengthen your muscle and stamina with karate. Learn punching and kicking
techniques. All returning participants may earn a stripe on their belt as they move
forward in their skills. All new students receive a white belt to start their journey. Not
meeting February 19 and March 12. Instructors: Roni and Pam. Class fee: $35.
