Out & about NEW! - Bakken Museum Join our friends from the Elk River HOPE program as we tour the amazing Bakken Museum, where you will find hands-on exhibits such as Electrifying Minnesota and Frankenstein’s Laboratory. We will stop at McDonalds for lunch before we head home. Bring extra money for lunch. Bus leaves promptly at 10 a.m. Escorts: Peggy and Martha. Class fee: $25 • Staff $19. Day/Date: Sat., Nov. 14 Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Location: Northdale MS-Parking Lot Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch Wind your way through the corn maze and look for hidden treasures along the way at the Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Maze. Once you have conquered the maze take a visit to the petting zoo, listen to live music, take a hayride, and stroll through the pumpkin patch. Concessions are available to purchase (optional). Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Escorts: Perry and Dirk. Class fee: $15 • Staff $15. Day/Date: Sat., Oct. 3 Time: 10 a.m. - Noon Location: Twin Cities Harvest Festival & Maze in Brooklyn Park Campfire & Hayride The best part of fall is enjoying the changing weather and scenery. Join us around the campfire with a cup of hot chocolate while we roast marshmallows. Then relax on a horse drawn hayride through the woods. Dress for the weather. Escorts: Peggy and Martha.
