CLASSES PLAYTIMEAT A GLANCE
PLAYTIME
Participate in fun activities with your children and meet other parents . There will be fun toys and activities each week , songs , finger plays and new friends for everyone . Registration is required .
• Playtime - for children ages birth up to kindergarten ; scheduled January 11 to March 12 .
• Playtime PLUS - for children ages birth up to kindergarten . A parent educator will be available to discuss and answer your parenting questions ; scheduled January 14 to March 11 .
What is Playtime ?
Art exploration , books , stories , active play , songs , rhymes and lots of fun ! Playtime will enhance small and large motor skills , self-esteem and social skills .
• Registration is required .
• Playtimes have a set number of participants .
• Parents and children remain together .
• Limited number of families for safety and enjoyment of all .
• Practice good hand hygiene – use handwashing facilities prior to entering Playtime .

Look for this sign on the entrance door to let you know when Playtime at a site is full . If the sign is up , that site cannot accommodate any additional participants .
• All toys are cleaned , and play area sanitized at the end of each Playtime session .

Children don ’ t come with instructions ! Licensed parent educators from the Anoka-Hennepin Schools Early Childhood Family Education ( ECFE ) program are happy to share parenting ideas and tips , or point families in the right direction of community and support resources if necessary .
