Baby Signs ( 3-20 months )
Babies have a lot to say even before they can speak . Research shows that babies who learn sign language learn to talk earlier , feel more confident , and can be happier . Learn signs surrounding the areas of mealtime , bedtime , bath time , dressing and more .
This class is presented in an online format ; information on how to join the class will be emailed by the teacher one week before class starts .

Movers & Doers ( 9-20 months )
Learning activities designed for children on the move . Parenting discussions will include responding to new behaviors , encouraging language development , preventing temper tantrums and more . Parents / caregivers and children remain together for the entire class .

So much has changed in your child ’ s first year ! Spend time with your one-year-old learning , discovering , and playing in a classroom designed for exploring and moving as well as parenting discussion on topics related to the joys and challenges of this age . Parent / caregiver and child separation will be gradual .

This is a time of huge growth for children ( and families ). Enjoy time in our classroom set up just for your young child . You will have an opportunity to meet other families who are also experiencing the changes of their child from a one-year-old to a toddler !

Parents , Kids & Preschool
( 36 months up to kindergarten ) This preschool class meets two days a week . The first day , parents and children attend together . The second day is for children only . Parent attendance is expected for the child to participate in the child-only day . Activities are aligned with the Anoka-Hennepin Schools kindergarten curriculum to enhance the development of social skills , math , literacy , music , and science . Parenting topics include getting ready for kindergarten , setting limits , bedtime , and more .
