PRESCHOOL ENRICHMENT
What is Community Schools Preschool Enrichment ?
Community Schools coordinates athletic , recreation and arts activities and classes for preschool-aged children , year-round . Community Schools preschool enrichment classes are designed to encourage participation and independence , and parent / child classes are also offered for when a child may need extra assistance in participation or completing a project .
Classes are held at various locations across the school district .

AQUATICS
Roosevelt Community Pool is a full service aquatics facility offering recreational swim hours , pool rentals , lessons for all ages , and adult fitness classes . Call 763-506-5980 for information about activities for the entire family .
SWIMMING LESSON SESSIONS
Classes once per week for four weeks . Classes offered six days per week .
Winter Session 1 : January 9-February 4 Winter Session 2 : February 5-March 81
Parent / Child ( Ages 6 months to 3 years old ) w Four-day sessions - 30 minute lessons : $ 49 Parent / Tot classes are designed to familiarize young children to the water and prepare them to learn to swim in the American Red Cross .
Preschool ( Ages 3 and 4 years old ) w Four-day sessions - 30 minute lessons : $ 49 Class is taught in the shallow end of the pool , which is two-and-a-half feet deep . Preschool lessons require an adult in the water due to COVID-19 guidelines . Instructors use fun games to teach bobbing , floating and life jacket safety .
Youth ( Ages 5-12 years old ) w Four-day sessions - 45 minute lessons : $ 69 Designed to help students achieve maximum success . Courses build upon stroke development , water safety and alove of swimming . Water safety and swimming are skills that your child will enjoy for life . Youth Level 1 requires an adult in the water due to COVID-19 guidelines .

OPEN SWIM SESSIONS
Winter / Spring Session : January 8-March 6
w Saturdays - 1:30-3:30 p . m . - $ 5 per person - all ages Pre-registration is encouraged due to capacity ratios . Walk-in ’ s will be accepted if space is available . Recreational swimming includes the use of the diving boards , swim toys and lap lanes for swimmers of all ages . Note : All swimmers need to pass a swim test to use the deep end areas . Swim test consists of jumping into the pool in deep water and swimming approximately twenty-five feet without stopping .
Closed the following days : Jan . 1-3 , Feb . 13-15 , Mar . 13-20 .
