Anoka-Hennepin Community Education coordinates Kindergarten
Readiness Preschool PLUS, which is a free, half-day preschool option,
with transportation included.
It offers the same school readiness curriculum that is aligned with
Anoka-Hennepin Schools kindergarten curriculum. Licensed teachers
monitor child progress and development throughout the school year.
Kindergarten Readiness Preschool PLUS is open to Anoka-Hennepin
families with a child four years of age by September 1, 2017, who live
in or attend daycare in the attendance areas of:
• Adams Elementary School
• Evergreen Park World Cultures Community School
• University Avenue Elementary School
Classes are offered in both morning and afternoon sessions and
follow the Anoka-Hennepin School District calendar, Monday-Friday. A
summer school component is offered to extend learning opportunities.
Free transportation and breakfast/lunch is also included.

Applications for the current 2017-18 school year are still being
