Home child care visits

Did you know that Anoka- Hennepin Schools Early Childhood Family Education( ECFE) provides visits to home child care providers? Licensed staff offer fun circle time, stories, songs and art, plus helpful resources for parents and licensure hours for the provider. The ECFE child care visiting program provides:

• Creative, age-appropriate activities for children

• A high-quality learning experience

• Curriculum aligned with Anoka-Hennepin Schools

• Ideas for kindergarten preparation

• Take-home tips for parents

There is no cost for home child care visits; however, there is limited availability. Visit our website to complete an online application or call to request one sent by mail.

Math Rocks!

Setting the table, sorting socks, and playing with pots and pans are everyday activities that help develop math skills in young children. Children will explore fun activities with math each week. A licensed parent educator will lead parenting discussions.
