Proud Provider of American Red Cross Aquatics Training PARENT/TOT LESSONS Aquatics: Swimming lessons Roosevelt Community Pool in Blaine offers year-round swimming lessons for children – infants to teens. All instructors are certified by the American Red Cross – the most trusted name in aquatics. Our goal: To keep your children safe and offer quality swimming lessons at an affordable price. Roosevelt Community Pool 650 125th Ave. NE Blaine, MN 55434 Ages six months to five years Four-day sessions - 40 minute lessons: $45 Parent/Tot classes are designed to familiarize young children to the water and prepare them to learn to swim in the American Red Cross Preschool Aquatics courses. It is not designed to teach children to become good swimmers or to survive in the water on their own. Parent or caregiver must accompany each child into the water and participate in each class. Session 1: January 2-28 Session 2: February 3-March 4 Session 3: March 17-April 13 Please note: Sessions 1-4 are one class per week for four weeks. Session 5 is two classes per week (either Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs) for two weeks. This drop-in open swim program will have pool toys available and is concentrated in the shallow end (2.5 feet) of the pool area. $2/child; parent/adult must be in the pool within arm’s reach of the child.
