Anoka-Hennepin Community Education coordinates School Readiness Preschool , which prepares children for kindergarten . The program offers a curriculum that is aligned with the district kindergarten curriculum . Licensed teachers monitor child progress and development throughout the school year .

Three-year-old classes - Child must be three years of age on September 1 , 2016 .
What is School Readiness Preschool ?
School Readiness Preschool is a tuitionbased preschool program aligned with the Anoka-Hennepin Schools elementary curriculum , which helps children prepare for kindergarten and become enthusiastic learners . Students participate in hands-on learning activities that are educational and fun , in a stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning through discovery and exploration .
Classes are taught by licensed teachers who monitor child progress and development throughout the year . Children gain skills and experiences in :
• Following routines and rules
• Cooperating with other children
• Literacy , books and writing
• Science , math , art and music
Four-year-old classes - Child must be four years of age on September 1 , 2016 .
Tuition
An initial tuition payment plus a $ 49 non-refundable registration fee is due at time of registration . Remaining tuition is divided into equal monthly payments .

Tuition assistance
We realize the importance of high-quality early childhood education for all children . Knowing the financial strain tuition may place on a family ’ s budget , tuition assistance is available to provide School Readiness Preschool classes to qualifying families at no cost .
