So much has changed in your child’ s first year! Spend time with your one-year-old learning, discovering and playing in a classroom designed for exploring and moving as well as parenting discussion on topics related to the joys and challenges of this age. Parent / caregiver and child separation will be gradual. * Sibling care is available at Riverview – see page 6 for fee.

Your Moving Baby( 6-12 months)
This is a busy time in a baby’ s life … rolling, crawling, standing and perhaps walking. Join other families to play and learn in an environment designed for babies. A licensed parent educator will guide discussions and provide important information for this next stage in your baby’ s development. Parents / caregivers and babies remain together for the class. Although this is a free class, pre-registration is required. Limit one free class per family, per semester.

Home Visiting
We’ ll bring ECFE to you! Home visits are offered to families with children ages birth to kindergarten. If you have questions regarding your infant, toddler or preschooler, schedule a personal home visit with a licensed family educator.
The family educator will come to your home to talk about:
• How children grow
• Parenting
• Setting goals
• Solving problems
• Community help
• Learning through play

Join your Parent Advisory Council!
Attending Parent Advisory Council( PAC) meetings is a great way to learn more about school district programs and make personal connections with other families.
The parent volunteers of the PAC support your ECFE and School Readiness Preschool programs by sharing their energy, ideas and suggestions.
Meetings are held the second Monday of each month during the school year from 6:30 to 8 p. m. Childcare is provided.
