What is Kindergarten Readiness Preschool PLUS?
Kindergarten Readiness Preschool PLUS is a free voluntary prekindergarten program made available through additional state
funding. For the 2016-17 school year there are three Kindergarten
Readiness Preschool PLUS classrooms:
• One at Adams Elementary School in Coon Rapids.

 wo at Evergreen Park World Cultures Community School
in Brooklyn Center.
The new program is open to any family living in the attendance
areas of these two schools. Classes meet September 2016 to June
2017, Monday through Friday morning or afternoon. There is also a
summer school component that will run through July. Transportation
is provided.

Eligible ages for Kindergarten Readiness Preschool PLUS
Child must be four years of age on September 1, 2016.

Registration
Applications for the current 2016-17 school year are still being
accepted. Call for registration information.

kindergarten curriculum.
Students will benefit from a
rigorous and consistent class
schedule meeting five-daysper-week, September through
early June plus a summer school
component.

students to practice and target
