Enjoy playing with your one-year-old child in a safe
classroom designed for exploring and moving. Parentchild separation will be gradual. Discussion topics
include ideas for separation issues, temper tantrums,
encouraging language development and more.

Play and learn with your child in this class, designed for
children emerging from toddlerhood and entering the
preschool years. We will discuss strategies to help you
understand and appreciate everyday life with your child.

Join us for play and lunch! Each week, we’ll focus on a
different aspect of play for parents and children - art,
science, books, music, fitness and more! Then, while
your child has lunch with friends, you can enjoy lunch
and discussion with other parents. Topics include helping
children learn through everyday experiences as well as
topics chosen by parents. Bring a sandwich and drink for
yourself and your child.

A naturalist from Three Rivers Park District will guide the
class in exploring the outdoors. This will be a hands-on
experience using all of the senses. The parent discussion
