ECFE
TWOS CLASSES
Parenting isn’ t one-size-fits-all and ECFE offers support to the toddler years with our Twos classes. We provide the information and tools you need to feel empowered to build your own unique path for supporting your childs growth and developement.
Twos classes are separating classes which means parents / caregivers spend half of the class time together with their child and half in parenting education while the child stays with an early childhood teacher.
Twos( 24 to 36 months) Life can be challenging living with the emerging independence of a two-year-old. Enjoy learning activities designed for curious, busy, on-the-go toddlers. Parenting discussion includes information about temperament traits, setting limits, toilet learning and independence. You’ ll also connect with other parents and caregivers going through similar experiences.

NO ECFE Class: June 29-July 1.
We will no longer have Preschool or Early Childhood Family Education( ECFE) classes at Coon Rapids Family Place starting in June 2026. Because of this, our Early Childhood Family Education( ECFE) summer programming will be limited due to the transition of our staff from CRFP. In the future, we will expand our ECFE classes at Blaine Early Childhood Center and ECFE and preschool classes at Sorteberg Early Childhood Center. We understand this will be an adjustment for many and appreciate your support as we make plans to grow at these locations.
