PRESCHOOL 2025-26
We offer preschool classes to support children with experiences, skills and knowledge for continual learning. Classrooms offer a supportive environment to build a foundation for successful learners, include children of all abilities, and are led by a licensed teacher. Scan to learn more Classes are held September to May at locations throughout the Anoka-Hennepin School District. There are morning and afternoon class times available. Class length ranges from 2.75 hours to four hours. Classes are for children ages three-and-four years old by September 1, 2025.

EARLY CHILDHOOD SCREENING
Anoka-Hennepin Schools offers FREE Early Childhood Screening for children ages 3 to 5 years old. Early Childhood Screening is a simple check of how your child is growing, developing and learning.
Why screen at age 3?
• To see how your child is growing and developing
• Time to provide support if there are concerns
• To connect you to early education programs and resources
Who needs to be screened?
• Minnesota state law requires that a child must be screened for enrollment in a public school.
• Children need to be screened within 90 days of starting preschool and within 30 days of starting kindergarten. • Screening is best completed at three years of age.
• Screenings are done by appointment only and are one hour in length. You can schedule online by scanning the code or calling 763-433-4910.
