Sensational Summer Fun

Come for a spotlight on favorite summer activities . Children and parents / guardians hunt for bugs , play with bubbles , do art with sand , and “ vacation ” without leaving the room . Parenting discussion topics will be guided by participants .

Just Plain Fun Outside

Children grow up so fast in today ’ s high-pressure world that it ’ s easy to forget to simply play . Join us for lots of “ just plain fun ” in our outdoor classroom where we ’ ll hunt for bugs , “ cook ” in the mud kitchen , play with water , sand , dirt and much more ! Parenting discussion will include the power of play and other topics . Weather permitting , this class will be outdoors for the entire class time every week .

Grab your lunch and join other parents / caregivers for an online book study facilitated by an ECFE Parenting Educator . Purchasing the book is not necessary for class participation but will aid in your learning . This class is geared for families who have children aged birth to grade 3 . “ Balanced and Barefoot “ by Angela J . Hanscom addresses how unrestricted outdoor play makes for strong , confident , and capable children . Balanced and Barefoot encourages parents to get kids outdoors by focusing on the benefit outdoor play has on a developing body . This class is presented in a virtual online format via Google Meet ; information on how to join the class will be emailed by the teacher one week before class starts .
