PARENT / CHILD CLASSES age-Specific Classes
Babies, Babies, Babies!( Birth-12 months)
Join other parents to play and learn in a baby-safe environment. Babies will have fun with activities and songs; parents will learn about development, early learning activities, sleeping and eating. Parents / caregivers and children remain together for the class. Although this is a free class, pre-registration is required. Limit one free class per family, per semester. * Sibling care is available for this class – see below for fee.

What are age-specific classes?
The age of the child attending the class must fall within the age guideline during the first week class is held. Each class includes parent / child time, learning activities for children and parenting discussion.
If you need a class for children of various ages, consider a mixedage class, found on pages 6-7; or the sibling care option for specific classes.

NO CLASSES: ECFE classes will not be held July 4.
STEM( Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)( 42 months up to kindergarten)
Take the first step in the Anoka-Hennepin Schools STEM program! Does your son or daughter like to build and figure out how things work? With a variety of materials, you and your child will use problem-solving skills to explore the“ whys” and“ how comes” of a STEM world! This fun, hands-on class is a great way to inspire a passion for STEM in girls as well as boys. Parent discussion focuses on what parents can do to support their child’ s learning. * Sibling care is available for this class – see below for fee.

Toddlers & Twos( 18-35 months)
Life can be challenging living with the emerging independence of a two-yearold. Enjoy learning activities designed for curious, busy, on-the-go toddlers. Parent discussion includes information about temperament traits, setting limits, toilet learning and independence. * Sibling care is available for this class at Riverview – see below for fee.
