PARENT / CHILD CLASSES age-Specific Classes
Babies , Babies , Babies ! ( Birth-12 months )
Join other parents to play and learn in a baby-safe environment . Babies will have fun with activities and songs ; parents will learn about development , early learning activities , sleeping and eating . Parents / caregivers and children remain together for the class . Although this is a free class , pre-registration is required . Limit one free class per family , per semester . * Sibling care is available for this class – see below for fee .

What are age-specific classes ?
The age of the child attending the class must fall within the age guideline during the first week class is held . Each class includes parent / child time , learning activities for children and parenting discussion .
If you need a class for children of various ages , consider a mixedage class , found on pages 6-7 ; or the sibling care option for specific classes .
Registration information can be found on pages 22-23 .
Sliding fee scale can be found on page 7 .
NO CLASSES : ECFE classes will not be held July 4 .
STEM ( Science , Technology , Engineering and Math ) ( 42 months up to kindergarten )
Take the first step in the Anoka-Hennepin Schools STEM program ! Does your son or daughter like to build and figure out how things work ? With a variety of materials , you and your child will use problem-solving skills to explore the “ whys ” and “ how comes ” of a STEM world ! This fun , hands-on class is a great way to inspire a passion for STEM in girls as well as boys . Parent discussion focuses on what parents can do to support their child ’ s learning . * Sibling care is available for this class – see below for fee .

Life can be challenging living with the emerging independence of a two-yearold . Enjoy learning activities designed for curious , busy , on-the-go toddlers .
