Babies, Babies, Babies! (birth-12 months)
Join other parents to play and learn in a baby-safe
environment. Babies will have fun with activities and
songs; parents will learn about development, early
learning activities, sleeping and eating. Parents and
children remain together for the class.

Class Under Glass (30 months - 5 yrs)
Did you know there is a greenhouse at Riverview Early
Childhood Center? Parents and children will learn about
nature as they paint, plant and explore the summer
season in the greenhouse! Parents discuss a variety of
topics chosen by the parent educator and group.

What are age-specific classes?
Registration is necessary for all agespecific classes. The age of the child
attending the class must fall within the
guidelines during the first week the class
is held. Each class includes parent/child
time, learning activities for children and
parent discussion. If you need a class
for children of various ages, consider a
mixed-age class, found on pages 4-5.

Little Ones (11-20 months)
Enjoy playing with your one-year-old child in a
classroom designed for exploring and moving. Parentchild separation will be gradual. Discussion topics
include ideas for separation issues, temper tantrums,
encouraging language development and more.

Toddlers & Twos (18-36 months)

Registration is required and begins
Monday, May 11 at 8 a.m. Online,
mail-in, phone-in and drop-off
registrations are accepted.

Learning activities are designed for curious, busy,
on-the-go toddlers. Parent discussion includes
information about temperament traits, setting limits,
toilet learning and independence.
