ECFE AGE-SPECIFIC CLASSES PARENT/CHILD CLASSES The age of the child attending the class must fall within the age guideline during the first week class is held. Each class includes parent/child time, learning activities for children and parenting discussion. If you need a class for children of various ages, consider a mixed- age class, found on pages 6-7; or the sibling care option for specific classes. Registration information can be found on pages 22-23. Sliding fee scale can be found to the right. NO CLASSES: ECFE classes will not be held July 1-4. PARENT/CHILD CLASSES Preschool Here I Come! (34 months up to kindergarten) Join other parents to play and learn in a baby-safe environment. Babies will have fun with activities and songs; parents will learn about development, early learning activities, sleeping and eating. Parents/caregivers and babies remain together for the class. It is an exciting time when your child starts preschool! This is the time to practice getting ready for preschool by listening to stories, singing, painting and making new friends! Through science-based exploration and outdoor play, experience the outdoors. Each class will include an opportunity to explore learning stations outdoors and play with water, sand, dirt and more. This is a great way to get outside with your children, foster curiosity and explore the natural world. Weather permitting, this class will be outdoors for the entire class time every week.
