Playtime

Stop by to have fun in our early childhood classrooms . Participate in fun activities with your children and meet other parents or grandparents . There will be new toys and activities each week , songs , finger plays and new friends for everyone . Registration is not necessary ; drop in for any of the Playtime sessions .

• family Playtime is for children ages birth through kindergarten ; scheduled June 11 to August 17 .

• Baby & Toddler Playtime is for children ages birth to 30 months ; scheduled June 14 to August 16 .

What is Playtime ?

Art exploration , books , stories , active play , songs , rhymes and lots of fun ! Playtime will enhance small and large motor skills , self-esteem and social skills .

• Parents and children remain together .

• Limit of four children per adult .

• No food allowed .

• Limited number of families for safety and enjoyment of all .

• Do not bring children who are ill .

Fee : $ 2 per child . Pre-registration is not necessary . Save $ 5 by purchasing a $ 25 punch card for 15 child playtime admissions at any ECFE site .

* Anoka Playtime will end on Tuesday , July 17 .

* Sorteberg Playtime will end on Monday , July 16 and will be held in the outdoor classroom , weather permitting .
