BOUNDARY

CHANGES

With areas of growth, new elementary schools being built and the removal of portable classrooms, attendance boundary adjustments at the elementary and middle school levels are required to balance student enrollment with space. New attendance boundaries will go into effect the 2019-20 school year.
Over the last year, the district has continually shared that attendance boundary adjustments would be needed no matter the outcome of the Fit for the
Future referendum. Now, the School Board is seeking community feedback on proposed attendance boundaries.
All community members are welcome to join:
• April 18, 6-8 p. m., Coon Rapids High School • april 30, 6-8 p. m., Blaine High School
• May 1, 6-8 p. m., Champlin Park High School • May 9, 6-8 p. m., Anoka High School
• May 10, 6-8 p. m., Andover High School
Even though a student’ s school may be changing, keep in mind, educational programs, services and support are similar throughout the district.
