ECFE

TODDLERS AND TWOS CLASSES

There is no“ one-size-fits-all” approach to raising them. The information and tools ECFE offers during the toddler and two-year-old stage are designed to support families in creating their own ways to promote their children’ s growth and development.
Toddlers and Twos classes are separating classes which means parents / caregivers spend half of the class time together with their child and half in parenting education while the child stays with an early childhood teacher.
My Two-Year-Old & My New Baby!( Birth to 35 months) This class is designed for two-year-olds and their brand-new baby sibling. It will focus on addressing the emotional, social, and developmental aspects of this family transition. Parent discussions will include navigating the demands of caring for two young children, managing the initial stages of sibling rivalry, and other topics determined by the group.

ECFE classes during the preschool years strengthen parent-child interactions while promoting children’ s social, emotional, and language development. Children build school readiness skills while parents discuss ways to help their children become confident, independent learners.
Preschooler classes are separating classes which means parents / caregivers spend half of the class time together with their child and half in parenting education while the child stays with an early childhood teacher.

AGE SPECIFIC CLASSES

Ones and Twos( 12 to 35 months) During the toddler and two years, children grow by leaps and bounds and naturally develop independence. Despite all this progress, they can also develop some challenging behaviors. Discuss how to navigate these complex years and gain a better understanding of their growth and development. Toddlers and twos will explore and have fun with activities and songs. This class will be a non-separating class.
