ECFE EARLY CHILDHOOD FAMILY EDUCATION Welcome to ECFE Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) offers high-quality programs created to support you in your parenting efforts. • Strengthen your parenting skills. • Discover activities to help your child learn. • See your child thrive and make new friends. • Grandparents are welcome to register for classes with their grandchildren, too. Hello and welcome to ECFE fall programs, We missed ‘seeing’ your families this summer and are thankful so many of you took part in our Summer with ECFE virtual circle times, one-on-one sessions and online parent education options. As we planned for the start of the 2020 school year there were many unknowns - and, at the time of this mailing there will still likely be many questions! What we do know is that: • Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) staff have a variety of programming options planned for families this fall. • Some people will prefer an in-person learning option, while others may prefer a full-distance learning option - and some a blend of both. • We have increased our time between classes to provide for cleaning before, during and after-class time. Learn more about our health and safety protocols: ahschools.us/COVID-19_earlylearning. • We will continue to follow guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Department of Education for programming. • Whether in-person or by distance learning, we will continue to provide high quality experiences for children and families. Please check out our most current class offerings online at ahschools.ce.eleyo.com to determine what option will work best for you! We look forward to singing with you during circle time, providing support to parents and caregivers, and providing creative options during the 2020-21 school year.
