Parent Aware star ratings help parents find programs that go above and beyond to prepare children for school and life. Highly trained staff All Anoka-Hennepin Schools Preschool instructors are licensed teachers. They use proven best practices to engage children in hands-on activities that provide a smooth transition to kindergarten. Staff participate in ongoing staff development and training. Creative Curriculum Focusing on key components of how children learn, Creative Curriculum promotes development of socialemotional, physical, language, cognitive, literacy and math skills. Teaching Strategies Gold assessment Teaching Strategies Gold is a research-based assessment tool. It is aligned with the Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress and monitors growth and development of all learners. THREE-YEAR-OLD PRESCHOOL Half-day preschool classes with two- or three-day class options - parents provide transportation. Open to families with a child three years of age by Sept. 1, 2020.
