AGE-SPECIFIC CLASSES
PARENT/CHILD CLASSES
Oh Baby! Open House
(Birth-9 months)
Oh baby, what a special time for you!
Join other parents and their babies
in a room filled with activities and
information geared just for the little
ones. No charge, but pre-registration
is necessary. This class is geared to newborns (birth-9 months) with
their parent/guardian, older siblings cannot be accommodated.
What are age-specific
classes?
The age of the child attending
the class must fall within the
age guideline during the first
week class is held. Each class
includes parent/child time,
learning activities for children
and parenting discussion.
Other than the baby classes, the
parents/guardians will typically
separate for a portion of the
class time. See website for class
separation details.
If you need a class for children of
various ages, consider a mixed-
age class, found on pages 9-12;
or classes with the sibling care
option.

NO CLASSES:
ECFE classes will not be held on Sept. 30,
Oct. 17-19, Nov. 5, Nov. 27-30, Dec. 2-3,
Dec. 23-Jan. 4, and Jan. 20.

Babies, Babies, Babies! (Birth-12 months)
Join other parents to play and learn in a baby-safe environment.
Babies will have fun with activities and songs; parents will learn about
development, early learning activities, sleeping and eating. Parents/
caregivers and babies remain together for the entire class.
Sibling care is available at Riverview - $50/child. Registration is required.

Infant Massage (Birth-12 months)
Learn how to massage your baby’s entire body. These techniques help
infants relax, relieve colic or gassy spells, and promote bonding in the
parent-infant relationship. Parents/caregivers and babies remain together
for the entire class.

Baby Signs (3-14 months)
Babies have a lot to say even before they can speak. Research shows that
babies who learn sign language learn to talk earlier, feel more confident,
and can be happier. Learn signs surrounding the areas of mealtime,
bedtime, bath time, dressing and more. Parents/caregivers and babies
remain together for the entire class.
