What is Community Schools
Preschool Enrichment?
Community Schools coordinates athletic, recreation and
arts activities and classes for preschool-aged children
year-round. Community Schools preschool enrichment
classes are designed to encourage participation and
independence, and parent/child classes are also offered
for when a child may need extra assistance in participation
or completing a project.
Classes are held at various locations across the school district,
listed on page 37. Registration information can be found on
pages 38-39. Fee assistance is available, see page 30.

A Spooky Pumpkin Party Dance for Toddlers
Join us for a fun party - you’ll learn about Spookly and
his uniquely square fit in the pumpkin patch! Make a
yummy square-shaped snack and create your very own
Spookly pumpkin to bring home and enjoy this season. Introduce your toddler to the world of dance
including creative songs, dance, props, and fun music.
Wear comfortable clothing. Ballet or gym shoes
recommended. No class October 8.

Dance for Preschoolers
Certified dance school instructors will help budding dancers
learn the basics of ballet, tap, song, dance, and creative
movement. The class will end with a show for parents and
guests (costume accessories provided). Wear comfortable
clothing for movement.

Dig Those Bones
Join us for three dynamite, adventurous weeks of
exploring the giants of the past. Using fossil bones and
digs, we will use clues to discover the mysteries of the
dinosaurs!
