Why parent education classes?
Kids don’ t come with instructions.
Parent education classes are designed to meet the needs of today’ s families by providing a community and shared learning experiences for moms, dads, grandparents, and those who work with children.
Classes offer families with children ages birth through grade two the knowledge and support needed to work through the challenges of many early childhood milestones and help you raise confident, cooperative and responsible children.

NEW! Puzzles of Parenting Series
Every parent has questions, and even though at times it might feel like you want to raise a white flag and surrender, we’ re here to help. The Puzzles of Parenting is a series of one session classes designed for parents, grandparents and caregivers of children from birth through grade two. It provides knowledge and support to enhance your confidence and improve your ability to make informed parenting decisions. The topics and dates for the series are below. Register for one or two-or perhaps register for them all. Class fee: $ 5 per session, per person; or register for all seven sessions for just $ 29. Child care is available for this class for children ages birth up to kindergarten. Register for child / sibling care for just $ 5 for up to two children per adult registering, or $ 29 for the entire series. When children lose control emotionally or physically we’ re often unsure what to do to help them. You can quickly feel helpless and beat down. Learn about the different stages of control children go through when emotionally stressed and how we can teach them to find greater selfcontrol. Geared for parents or caregivers of children ages three through grade two. Although this is a free class with free childcare, pre-registration is required for both the adult class and child care.
