Romantic Dance Workshop
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so why not start the
romance early? This workshop takes your old swing and sway
dance and spices it up with simple, romantic moves. You’ll be
spinning, turning and twirling together before you know it and
you’ll feel comfortable in any setting! By the end of the evening
you won’t want to let go! Wear closed-toe shoes. Couples only
please. Class fee: $45 two.

Macro or Close Up
Learn how to use a macro lens and other alternatives to see
and capture images that even our eyes cannot see-the pollen
splashed on the body of a bumble bee, the small spider web
on a flower, etc. Join John Pennoyer, in this class as he goes
through his techniques on capturing the small world with a big

Swing Some More
Continue building your understanding of swing dancing and your
confidence on the dance floor. You will learn additional footwork
and patterns to single time swing. Knowledge of some basic
swing patterns are helpful but not required. Instructor, Carol
Brecht-Wiles, has been making dance fun for more than 20 years.
Wear hard-soled shoes; partners encouraged. Not meeting
February 7. Class fee: $59 one; $79 two.

Two-Left Feet Social Dance Workshop
Convinced that you have two-left feet and that dancing is not
meant for you? It doesn’t take much: a couple of fun turns, a
fancy walk to show off your partner and easy tricks to maneuver
around the dance floor. Sample a variety of dance styles and gain
the confidence to dance the night away. Couples only please!

NEW | Winter Light
Get out and enjoy the Minnesota winter with your camera. The
winter season offers photographers some very unique lighting
situations, especially on a snow covered landscape. Instructor,
John Pennoyer, will discuss exposure for light and snow. You
will learn proper care for your equipment in cold weather and
how to keep yourself warm in these conditions. Last class ends
with a field shoot. See website for supply list, class locations and
