Travel Spanish

Ballroom Dance for Beginners

If you are planning to travel to a Spanish-speaking country,
imagine how much more rewarding your experience will be if
you are able to speak and understand some of the language!
Have fun learning common phrases for traveling, shopping
and ordering food as you practice communicating with a native
Spanish speaker. Not meeting March 1. Class fee includes
textbook used in class. Class fee: $69.

Self-conscious or embarrassed about your dance moves? Gain
confidence dancing with a partner to current and classic songs
played at weddings, parties and most social events. Come with
or without a partner. Couples dance with their partner only, and
singles rotate with one another. Teens and adults welcome.
Classes are easier than you think! Not meeting February 20.
Class fee: $55.

Country Two-Step
Put your boot-scootin’ boots on for Country Two-Step in this fun
workshop. This popular partner dance will cover basic steps and
under arm turns, so you can be comfortable on the dance floor.
Wear hard-soled shoes or your boot-scootin’ boots. Instructor,
Carol Brecht-Wiles, has been making dance fun for more than 20
years. Class fee: $25 one; $39 two.

NEW | Line Dance-A Tribute to Prince
This fun line dance pays tribute to our own Minnesota native
- Prince. Enjoy a nostalgic evening reliving some of his classic
songs! Put on your dancing shoes and be prepared to party
like it’s “1999!” No partner needed. Wear closed-toed shoes.
Class fee: $25.

Line Dancing-Three Weeks of Fun
Let your inner dancer come out and sample popular line dance
moves. Experience classic line dances such as the Electric Slide,
Slappin’ Leather and the Hustle plus newer routines including
the Cha Cha Slide, Cupid Shuffle and the Wobble. No partner
required for a boat load of fun! Wear closed-toed shoes. Class
fee: $35.
