influence wellness in our daily lives:

various other creative outlets have been shown to reduce stress. Learn how
dabbling in arts activities can improve your health.

message about learning how to overcome obstacles in health and well-being
after her experience battling breast cancer.

Our Mission | The Anoka-Hennepin School
District Community Education Department
is dedicated to lifelong learning, involving
people and enriching communities.
Happiness also impacts your personal wellness. If you aren’t able to attend any of
the free activities, workshops or sampler classes that we are offering at Community
Wellness Day on Jan. 20, we hope you will explore an interest or hobby that brings
you happiness through a community education activity or class that we offer year-
round for all ages.
Fit for the Future
The community education department has been engaged in the school district’s
plan to maintain the health of our schools and facilities by making them Fit for the
Future for all learners and our greater community.
Voters in the Anoka-Hennepin School District approved both referendum questions
on the ballot Nov. 7, which will allow the School Board to address facility and class
size challenges found across the district. Thank you, to our community, for getting
out to vote. You can learn more about the results and what it will mean for Anoka-
Hennepin Schools at www.ahschools.us/FitfortheFuture.
