Arm Knitting Basics
Arm knitting is the quickest way to knit with a chunky style. Join
instructor, Anne Scheidnes, for this hands-on class where you
will learn how to arm knit a 35 in. x 40 in. throw. All levels of
experience welcome. Get ready to begin your own arm knitting
adventures. Bring 150 yards of super bulky weight yarn or more
for a larger throw. Class fee: $35.

NEW | Embroidery-Beginner
Are you intimidated by hand embroidery? Fear no more! Join
instructor, Connie Jones, to learn basic embroidery stitches.
With step-by-step instruction, you will practice a variety of
stitches including chain stitch, buttonhole or blanket stitch,
running stitch, satin stitch and cross stitch. You will then learn
how to apply embroidery stitches to a dish towel in class.

NEW | Intro to Needle Tatting
Needle tatted lace is considered by many to be a difficult
old-world technique that has been used for decorative decor,
jewelry and garment adornment. In this class, you will learn to
you create a basic needle tatted piece that can be used as a
bookmark. Instructor, Kelly Sadler, will help you to gain the skills
to continue needle tatting on your own. All supplies provided.

Learn to Knit-Beginner I
Learn basic techniques - cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease,
finishing and pattern reading - while making a tote bag to be
felted. Bring size eight knitting needles and light colored yarn for
practice (scissors, tapestry needle and stitch markers will be needed
after first week, bring first week if you have them). Class fee: $55.
NEW | L ocker Hook Trivet
Do you have scrap fabrics? Well locker hooking is the perfect
way to use them up! Locker hooking is a craft that uses strips
of fabrics to “hook” through a mesh canvas. The fabric is then
secured or “locked” down by running a cotton string through
the loops. You will create your own trivet in class and leave with
the knowledge to continue on your own at home. See website
for supply list. Optional 12 in. x 12 in. canvases available for
purchase from instructor. Class fee: $39.
