Prepare a professional will in class on the computer and learn about estate planning. Students should be comfortable using a computer, as work will be completed in a computer lab. Some prep work required; packet sent one week prior to class. This is a simple will class, not appropriate for those who have assets in excess of one million dollars or who need a trust. Instructor is an experienced estate planning attorney. Couples must register individually. Class fee: $ 99.

For decades homes have been built without the consideration of the aging process. Learn about challenges found in most homes and discuss universally designed ideas and products to consider when addressing these challenges, from do-it-yourself to full remodeling projects. Bring photos, sketches / plans of areas / rooms of concern for the question and answer portion of the class. Instructor is an award-winning, licensed architect and certified aging in place specialist with 40 years of experience. Class fee: $ 19 one; $ 29 two.

Metro North Adult Basic Education( ABE) offers free classes for adults. Classes are offered days / evenings at various locations and are taught by professionals.
