NEW | Disc Golf
Discover the fun of disc golf. A sport that combines the fun of
throwing a flying disc with the challenge of golf. Like golf, you
get one point for each throw and the lowest score wins. With
this hands-on instruction, you will practice different throws to
help get your disc toward the designated basket. All abilities
welcome. Discs will be provided. Class held at Elm Creek Park
Reserve in Maple Grove. Class fee: $35.

Nordic Walking
Experience Nordic walking while enjoying the crisp, clean, fall
air. Nordic walking is a form of fitness walking that uses specially
designed poles to increase your heart rate and burn calories
while decreasing impact on your joints. This guided tour is
perfect for those who want to enjoy a day outside or experience
a taste of this popular fitness activity. All equipment provided.

What’s up with those fat tires? You will learn from certified and
experienced staff at Trailhead Cycling, about features that make
fat tire bikes unique and appealing for various terrains. Learn why
bicycle enthusiasts are swapping out their mountain bikes for a
fat tire bike. Take a demo ride to feel the difference. Class held
at Trailhead Cycling in Champlin. Class fee: $29.

Golf Lessons-Beginning
Learn the fundamentals of swing, chipping and putting.
Instructed by golf course pros. Class held at Greenhaven Golf

Intro to Geocaching
Heard the word, but not sure what geocaching is? Introduce
yourself to geocaching and learn how to use GPS units to find
hidden caches located throughout Wargo’s peninsula. Venture
out and find caches both with the group and individually with
Wargo Nature Center staff. Mix nature with technology as you
explore the trails. For adults and families with children age 12
and older. All equipment provided. Class held at Wargo Nature
Center in Lino Lakes. Class fee: $29.
