A Taste of the Paranormal World Book Review Club
Are you intrigued by ghosts and other paranormal entities? Join
paranormal investigator, Ross Beard, and others from the Anoka
Paranormal Investigations team, for an educational evening of
paranormal investigating. You will learn about the process for
investigating haunted locations, look at basic equipment and
view evidence from previous investigations. Bring your own
ghost stories to share. Class fee: $35. An ongoing book review club. Each month, a new book will
be selected and discussed. Members share in leading the

Learn the basics of identifying and appraising art, antiques,
jewelry, coins and collectibles. Get tips on what makes items
valuable and the best ways to sell them. You will learn about
lithophane, trench art, U.S. Zone china, a U.S. three cent nickel,
precious gemstones, mourning jewelry and German silver.
Experience hands-on learning with certified appraiser and
instructor, David Schlueter. Extensive handouts provided.

how get the best photos with your camera. Classroom sessions
focus on basic features and uses for your particular camera.

mirrorless (those with interchangeable lenses) or high-end fixed-

Beer Brew Basics
Explore craft brewing basics, grain varieties and how to create
different styles and flavors of beers. You will gain knowledge
about each stage of the brewing process, including what it takes
to keg or can beers. Samples will be provided. Class held at 10K
Brewing in Anoka. Supply fee of $12 cash paid to instructor at
class. Class fee: $19.

Explore craft winemaking in this hands-on, two-session class.
Session one focuses on initial winemaking steps – mixing
ingredients, learning about grape varieties and wine quality.
Session two is six weeks later, where you’ll bottle your wine
creation. You’ll take home six bottles (three red, three white) in
a wine tote bag. Class held at Genesis Winemaking in Anoka.

Dog Obedience-Canine Good Citizen
Join certified pet trainer, Kari Martin, for this hands-on class to
help your dog become a well-mannered representative of the
community. You and your dog will practice basic commands,
targeting, polite walking, proper socialization and reinforcement
techniques. Open to non-aggressive dogs of all ages; one dog
