Savvy Social Security Planning for Couples
Write Your Will
The Social Security decisions spouses make when they are in their
60’s will determine the amount of total income they will receive
over their lifetime - including the lifetime of the spouse who lives
the longest. This workshop will cover some little-known rules that
can help married couples get more out of the Social Security
system. Supply fee of $5 paid to instructor at class for booklet.
Class fee: $35 two.
Prepare a professional will in class on the computer and learn
about estate planning. Students should be comfortable using a
computer, as work will be completed in a computer lab. Some
prep work required; packet sent one week prior to class. This is
a simple will class, not appropriate for those who have assets in
excess of one million dollars or who need a trust. Instructor is
an experienced estate planning attorney. Couples must register
individually. Class fee: $99.
