In this fun, beginner-friendly session, you’ ll learn the basics of Dungeons & Dragons, the world’ s most iconic tabletop role-playing game. Full of exciting stories and endless possibilities, getting started on your own can feel intimidating. Join us as a professional Game Master removes the many barriers that new players experience, allowing you to become engrossed in the story instead of the rule book. You’ ll be guided through the gameplay essentials, create your own unique character, and dive into your first adventure during a short segment of play. Prepare for an exciting world that allows characters to progress, level-up, and gain powerful abilities as choices shape your journey. Grab a seat at the table; your adventure is about to begin! Participants must be ages 15 + to register.

With guidance from an experienced Game Master, families will create characters, explore the rules together, and jump into a short, cooperative adventure designed to spark imagination and teamwork. This program is perfect for families looking to bond through creativity, storytelling, and problem-solving. Recommended for kids ages 10 and up and adults of any age, no experience or materials are needed as you take the first steps on your family D & D journey!

The final class session will be a field trip to a local thrift shop.

Paranormal Investigating 101
You’ ve seen it on TV, now you can learn the basics of ghost-hunting and paranormal investigations. You’ ll see evidence from actual investigations, discover what equipment works best, learn investigation ethics and proper investigation techniques. What does it take to run an investigation? We’ ll cover what you need to know from start to finish. You’ ll even have a chance to get hands-on experience with equipment and techniques during a mini-investigation at the end of class. Participants must be ages 15 + to register.

You’ ve learned the basics in Paranormal Investigating 101, now let’ s put your skills to the test with a full investigation! We’ ll split into groups to investigate and come together at the end to compare notes. Bring any equipment for use in class. We will have a few pieces of equipment to borrow out as well. Participants must be ages 15 + to register. Prerequisite: Paranormal Investigating 101.
