Driver Education
Anoka-Hennepin Community Education has partnered with Safeway Driving School to provide an additional opportunity for high school students to complete their classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction outside of the traditional school day. Driver Education classes are open to teens ages 14 ½ and up and below the age of 18. Classroom( held via Zoom) and behind-the wheel package: $ 425. Classroom-only: $ 255( payment plan available). 4 Hour 55 + Defensive Driving( Online)
If you are 55 or older, save money on your car insurance premiums and become a better driver! Minnesota law requires that insurance companies offer a 10 % reduction on auto insurance for three years if you complete a state-approved defensive driving course taught by professional, certified instructors.
This course is held via Zoom- no driving or test required. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion from the Minnesota Safety Council to provide to your insurance agent.
