Beginner’ s Stained Glass
This class is designed for beginners who are interested in trying their hand at making stained glass. All the tools, glass and supplies are provided. Students will choose from a few simple patterns designed to teach the basics steps of following a pattern, cutting glass, grinding glass, copperfoiling and soldering. We try to make it easy and fun so you will enjoy the process of creating something beautiful that you can take home and hang in your window. Bring your own safety glasses and see the description of appropriate clothing to wear to class.

Express Introduction to Glassblowing
This class is great for beginners without any experience! The students will learn safety fundamentals, tool and torch usage, solid rod welding and gathering, color application, shaping, and more. Students can potentially create things such as small sculptural items, marbles, paper weights, plant rods, or anything else that can be thought of with the skills learned. Glass Mosaic Table or Sign
Learn to design and mosaic a sign or table with beautiful precut glass, and stencils( if needed), in two fun evenings. The signs vary in size. Popular ideas include welcome, your address, or the state of MN. The second night is grouting and learning more about mosaics and supplies. The table is 16 in. tall and the top is 16 in. x 16 in. and is $ 75. Signs are $ 16 +.

Intermediate Stained Glass Studio
This class is designed to advance the skill of students who have already taken one or two beginner stained glass classes. In this class, students will get individual assistance to improve their skills-there will be no formal instruction. Students need to come to the first session ready to work. Glass and tools will be available for purchase, or tools can be rented from the instructor for $ 30 for the duration of the classes. Registered students will receive an email with the instructor’ s contact information so they can discuss their plans for the course prior to the first session. Students are free to use the time to make whatever they like, from suncatchers to panels in copperfoil, lead, or zinc. Grinders will be provided for class use, and students will get to try some more advanced tools. Please wear appropriate clothing for working with glass.

Mosaic Birdbath
Make a birdbath using a terra cotta tray and mosaic tiles. The birdbath is both functional and a beautiful, artistic garden accent. Discuss which wrought iron stand is the best and can be purchased in local home improvement stores. Wear old clothes! Mosaic Butterfly, Dragonfly, or Lizard
This mosaic butterfly, dragonfly or lizard will be a cheerful addition to your garden or patio. Using a new mosaic technique will enable you to finish this project in one evening. Bring an old towel, rubber gloves and dress for a mess. Specify butterfly, dragonfly or lizard at time of registering. Supply fee of $ 25 cash paid to instructor at class.

| Stained Glass Garden Stake
This is an intermediate-level class for students who have had any kind of stained glass training, here or elsewhere( even if it’ s just suncatchers!). Students will make one glass garden stake and choose from many different designs and glass colors. This class will employ the copper foil method of assembly and all tools and supplies will be provided. We will be cutting glass during Friday night’ s class, so please dress accordingly. Bring your own safety glasses, and bring lunch for Saturday. Registered students will receive an email one week prior to class to pre-select their pattern.

Glass Suncatchers
This class is a great way for beginners to check out this amazing craft. Choose from a variety of patterns and glass to personalize your creations. All the tools and supplies are provided. In the first session, students learn how to score the glass and break it. In the second session, we will apply a thin copperfoil to the edge and solder everything together. Students will have time to complete 3-4 items. Bring your own safety glasses and see the description of appropriate clothing to wear to class.
