Acrylic Basics-Small Painting Big Impact-
Landscapes
Are you interested in acrylic painting but aren’t quite sure where
or how to begin? This step-by-step class will provide you with
opportunities to make five beautiful, complete works of art - one
in each class session. Join instructor, Dan McAvey, in exploring
acrylic painting fundamentals while you paint various landscapes
as your subject matter. All supplies provided. Class fee: $75.

Acrylic Pouring-Smash Technique
Acrylic paint pouring is an exciting method for making unique,
abstract art. Learn about pouring mediums and mixing paints
to get consistent results to develop beautiful patterns in your
paintings. There will be a couple of demonstrations, then you’ll
get to create a unique 9 in. x 12 in. canvas painting using the
“Smash” technique. All supplies are included! Wear old clothes,
it’s a messy medium. Paintings will need time to dry, so you will
need to pick up your painting the following week. Class fee: $45.
Basic Drawing
Explore the world and joy of drawing while focusing on line,
shape, value, space and texture. Educator and artist, MaryLeah
Marshall, will provide guidance as you develop your individual
drawing skills using still life and photo references as sources.
All levels of drawing are welcome; individual instruction adapted
to your skill level. See website for supply list. Not meeting
February 25 and March 3. Class fee: $75.

Bob Ross Oil Painting
Have you ever wanted to try oil painting, but didn’t know where
to start? Start here! Jay Rupp, a certified Bob Ross instructor,
will guide you step-by-step as you paint. All supplies will be
provided. Wear painting appropriate clothing and bring a bag
lunch. Wooden picture frames are available for purchase after
class. Class fee: $59.

Acrylics-Minnehaha Falls
Join instructor, Dan McAvey, for a night of acrylic painting! Dan
will guide you through each step and teach you the skills to
create a beautiful and unique 16 in. x 20 in. acrylic painting of
Minnehaha Falls. No experience is required to have a fun night
and create a piece of art you can bring home. All supplies are
provided. Class fee: $39.

All the materials will be provided for you to make a beautiful
personalized wall decoration for your home from scratch.
You choose the colors, and build and paint your customized
wood sign. Please indicate your design choice of one of the
three designs; “Welcome”, “Home Sweet Home”, or “You
are My Sunshine”, when you register. Supply fee of $45 paid
to instructor at class. Class held at Paint & Pallet in Ramsey.
