NEW | Natural Remedies for Winter Wellness Tai Chi for Health and Wellness
When winter comes around, it is good to have resources to help
boost your immune system to stay healthy! Learn food choices
and natural remedies that you can use at home to prevent
and treat symptoms of the common cold, sinus infections, ear
infections, chest colds and the flu. Discover ways to support
immune function using a variety of methods including herbs,
vitamins, minerals, water therapies, essential oils, and nutrition.
Explore the most effective ways to support your immune system
this time of year and always! Instructor, Stephani Waldron-Trapp,
is a local registered naturopathic doctor. Class fee: $29. This gentle Sun Tai Chi form improves mental and physical
capacity as well as relaxation, balance and vitality. Helps relieve
pain, increase range of motion and improve quality of life.
This class is recommended for arthritis and fall prevention.
Can be done sitting or standing. Wear flat shoes (sandals not
recommended) and loose, comfortable clothing. Instructor is
certified in Tai Chi and has over 15 years teaching experience.

CPR/FIRST AID
Restorative Foot Workshop
Most of us have feet that lack mobility and strength. This is
directly linked to alignment issues and joint pain in other parts
of the body. This two-hour workshop will address some of the
common causes of those tight, stiff feet. Learn how to improve
foot function and health. Healthier feet = healthier you. Dress for
some simple movement. You will be barefoot, no socks. Bring a
yoga mat or folded blanket. Class fee: $45.

CPR-AED/First Aid Pediatric Combo
Skills will include CPR, use of barrier devices (CPR mask) and
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training and choking for
pediatrics. Course covers recognition of an emergency, how to
provide first aid care, barrier devices and how to treat patients
with shock, bleeding, wounds and other medical related injuries.
Receive course completion card. Bring a bag lunch. Supply
fee of $27 paid to instructor to include textbook and ecard.

NEW | Introduction to Tai Chi for Health
and Wellness
Come learn about Tai Chi in this free introductory session. This

Blaine. Even though this class is free, pre-registration is required.
CPR-Basic LIfe Support (BLS) Course-New
Course covers one and two rescuer for CPR and foreign body
airway obstruction. Also includes the use and training in
Automated External Defibrillator (AED), mouth and mask, bag
mask and stroke/brain attack is reviewed and skilled. Passing
a written exam is required. Recommended for health care
providers, EMS, civil servants, dental, lifeguards and others
wanting to gain certification. Receive course completion card.
Supply fee of $7 paid to instructor at class for eCard. Supply
fee of $21 paid to instructor at class for textbook (optional).
