I first worked with Anoka-Hennepin Community Education staff nearly 20 years ago, when seven metro area school districts worked together to develop tools to more effectively evaluate the quality of programs. The work we completed then earned a statewide project award and still impacts our work today – bringing high-quality educational opportunities to our community. Our collaborative work continued over the years and I have worked with A-H staff to advocate for our learners and programs at the legislature, and to establish and share best practices in our programs to benefit early learners, school-age youth and adults across the state of Minnesota. It is clear that as community educators, we all have something in common: Working to serve our learners, and to help build stronger communities through the programs we deliver and the relationships that are built. I look forward to working with this team to support the educational needs of our participants, and to continue to offer this community new, innovative opportunities through our programs, activities and classes. Thank you for your continued support of community education. I hope to meet and see you in our classes.
