Improving Personal Relationships
This course will help attendees understand human beings ’ basic needs and makeup . It will reveal how our unmet needs contribute to our struggles and issues in life as well as our relationships . After taking this course , you will be able to better identify your needs , how to meet them , and how to identify and meet the needs of others . In addition , you will learn practical tips for improving your communication and setting healthy boundaries .

Know Your Muslim Neighbor
This class is focused on providing information about community members who practice religion of Islam . The class covers the basic belief system and educates about commonalities and differences . It is geared toward honest discussion and ample time is provided for Q / A . It is best for community members to learn about each other by meeting face-to-face . There is curiosity about other cultures , but not a platform to ask and learn about each other . This class strives to close that gap .

Photographer and Amateur Historian , Jay Grammond planned and facilitated a WWII History Series in Elk River for 13 years . In that time , he got to know numerous people that lived during that time in history . Holocaust , and Japanese-American Internment Camp Survivors ; Homefront Workers ; Allied POW ’ s ; Veterans from all branches and Theatres , and in one case , even a German Soldier who fought the whole war on the Eastern Front !
