Romantic Dance Workshop
Start out the weekend with a little romance. Take your old“ swing and sway” and really spice it up with simple, yet easy romantic moves. Join instructor Daniel Fritz from Minnesota Drum School where you will learn beyond the fundamentals of how to play the drum set. This class will focus on how to play in different time signatures and in a range of styles including rock, jazz, funk, R & B and world. We will also explore lesser known rudiments and subdivisions. Previous experience isn’ t a requirement for this class, although it might be helpful. NEW | Instant Ukulele for Hopelessly Busy People
In just a few hours you can learn enough about playing the ukulele to give you years of musical enjoyment and you won’ t have to take private lessons to do this. This crash course will teach you some basic chords and get you playing along with your favorite songs right away. Fee includes the online book, online recorded follow up lessons, a recording of the class, and also access to optional live periodic question & answer sessions at no additional cost. Square Dancing
Modern square dance is healthy, fun, and a great way to make new friends while exercising your body, brain, and smile. Sequential lessons sessions are offered twice and hosted by Hotfoot Stompers Square Dance Club. Lessons are taught by Dan Sahlstrom on Monday evenings, beginning October 5th, 2026, for FALL classes or January 11, 2027, for WINTER classes. Couples, singles, and families welcome.
