Photography-Panoramic
Golf Lessons-Mixed Level
Panoramic photos capture multiple shots that piece together a
single scene. Capture the city at night with stunning panoramic
shots of skylines, bridges and buildings. Learn how to control
your camera’s exposure, focus and white balance when taking 4
to 7 pictures of a single scene. Gain hands-on experience with
two classroom sessions (including a basic photo editing) and two
field trips. Prerequisite: working knowledge of camera on manual
setting or previous class from instructor. Bring your camera to class.
Field trips arranged at first class. Class fee: $65.
Learn the fundamentals of swing, chipping and putting.
Instructed by golf course pros. Class held at Bunker Hills Golf
Course. Must be 18 or older to participate. Bring your golf clubs if
you have them. A range fee of $15 is payable at the first session.
Class fee: $35.

Indoor Rock Climbing
Curling Clinic
Play the hottest sport on ice in a fun, friendly environment that
introduces you to the thrill of curling. Instructional session teaches
you the basics of curling while learning physical play, rules and
strategy. Within minutes you are throwing rocks and sweeping.
Finish off the class playing a mini game. This Olympic sport is low
impact, with many health and social benefits. Enjoy camaraderie
with fellow curlers, as is curling tradition, with optional food and
refreshments available for purchase. Class held at Four Seasons
Curling Club in Blaine. Class fee: $15.

The weather is cooler and the fall colors are at their peak. Enjoy a
guided nordic walk through beautiful Elm Creek Park and learn the
history of nordic walking while observing the fall scenery. Nordic
walking is a fun, relaxing way to trek that utilizes trekking poles.
Great way to increase your heart rate and decrease impact on your
joints. All equipment provided. Dress in layers for the weather. Class
held at Eastman Nature Center in Elm Creek Park. Class fee: $19.
Introduce yourself to the basics of indoor rock climbing.
Learn essential rock climbing skills such as knot tying,
belaying, bouldering, climbing commands, gear and
risk management. This safe, friendly and controlled
setting will provide an overview of the sport as well as
individualized instruction in climbing techniques. No
previous climbing experience required. All equipment
provided. Class held at Vertical Endeavors in
Minneapolis. Class registration closes Oct. 30; register
early to reserve your spot. Class fee: $55.
