Saturdays Volunteer with Feed My Starving Children at Woodbury’s Five Million Meals Event! Be a part of something big! Thousands of volunteers will help pack meals for Feed My Starving Children at a MobilePack event at HealthEast Sports Center in Woodbury (4125 Radio Drive, Woodbury). Over four days, 25,000 volunteers will pack 5 million meals to feed the hungry. This is a free event but preregistration is required. Staff are encouraged to register and volunteer as well. You’ll be making a difference for children in need! CBSV1 Oct 6 Free (staff free) 1 session 3:00–5:00 pm Health East Sports Center The Addams Family NO ONLINE REGISTRATION You know the theme song, “They’re creepy and they’re kooky, mysterious and spooky, they’re all together ooky, the Addams Family.” Join Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsly and the rest of the family in their famous house “that’s a museum where people come to see ‘em.” Meet Kathy Ader at North High School Atrium between 1:30–1:45 pm to get your tickets. The performance starts promptly at 2 pm. There are a limited number of wheelchair spots, please indicate if needed. If you dare, stroll through the haunted grounds and venture into the haunted barn at the Ramsey County Freight Farm. This event is not for the faint of heart! Park in the Aldrich Arena parking lot and meet Ron Sushak at 6:45 pm at the north facing door to Aldrich Arena. Ride the hayride shuttle to the haunt. The nearly 100 year old barn has a fairly steep ramp and not all areas inside are wheel chair accessible. The hayride shuttle is not wheel chair accessible. If you will be using a wheel chair, please notify the office at 651-748-7252 so an alternative meeting place can be arranged. This is not a drop-off event, staff or family required to attend with participants. Note: The haunt uses a fog machine and flashing lights. Meet at 6:45 pm.
