See stalactites, stalagmites, and fl uorescent and phosphorescent rocks. Discover how caves are formed and the relationship between caves and drinking water. Plus, you will come away with a new appreciation for bats–nature’s mosquito repellent. Once your tour of the cave is done, journey over to Prospector’s Creek and pan for gems at the water sluice. Please note: The cave is a constant 50 degrees so bring a light jacket. The cave is not wheel chair accessible. You will be walking up and down stairs and the paths are gravel so wear walking shoes, not fl ip-fl ops. You can bring small purses or camera bags on the tour but larger purses/bags will need to left in the complimentary lockers. Bus departs from Gladstone promptly at 8:45 am.
