fi refl ies aglow! All supplies are included. Receive step-by-
step instructions to create your masterpiece! Cookies have
been donated by Kowalski’s Market in Woodbury.

Try Your Hand at Wheel Thrown Pottery
What’s it like to throw on the potter’s wheel? Get your
hands in the clay and learn basic throwing techniques
to create simple, yet impressive, bowls and cylinders.
Supply costs are included. Please wear old clothes. Due to
the time needed for kiln fi ring, the instructors will fi nish
your art by glazing and fi ring the pieces in the two weeks
following class. Plan to pick up completed pottery between
April 1–15 at the Community Ed Offi ce in Cottage Grove
(District Program Center, 8400 East Point Douglas Road
S.) All pieces left after that will be given away.

Readers Theater
No need to memorize lines, wear costumes or worry about
stage fi ght! Reader’s Theater is an activity in which you
the “actor” read your lines aloud and use changes in your
voice to express meaning or feelings. It is storytelling done
by multiple people. If you can read, you’ve got the part!

Enjoy the park after hours as we build a campfi re to make
gourmet s’mores like Monkey Bait, Floodplain Forest and
of course Old Homestead. Dress for outdoor temperatures
and join us as we share stories around a cozy fi re. Meet at
Afton State Park’s Visitor Center.
