Important Online Registration Information
WE NEED YOUR HELP! While online registration is quick and convenient, it is not without its share of problems. The most troublesome of which is multiple accounts for the same person. Here is what you need to know: If you or the client you are registering has taken a class or attended activity through Community Bridge in the last 8 years, they already have an account set up. And yes, some of your clients have 5 or 6 accounts! The problem with multiple accounts is that we have multiple addresses and multiple phone numbers associated with each client. So where do they actually live and what are the actual emergency contact numbers? You see staff change and many of these addresses and phone numbers are staff’ s personal information instead of the group home or the client’ s address / phone number.
How to register online:
1. Whenever possible have the same person register for the classes and activities. If not the same person, at least use the same username( email) and password. If this person is leaving the organization, please get this information from them before they leave.
2. When registering a client, always register using the group home or client address and phone numbers. Staff personal numbers can be additional contact numbers.
3. When Registering staff:
• The first name is“ staff” and the last name is“ the group home address” Example: Staff 1111ABC Ave N
• Again there will already be a group home staff account set up if a staff has accompanied the clients in the past.
Participants requiring a wheel chair: because wheel chair spots are limited by the capacity of the bus or the venue, it is important that participants who require wheel chairs are identified at the time of registration. Please type“ W / C” next to the last name( Smith W / C) and then enter this information and any other health concerns that would affect participation in the health concerns field.
