Iowa Finance Authority

The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) fulfills its mission to advance affordable housing for
Iowans through partnerships with banks all throughout the state. Through IFA’s programs, Iowa home buyers have the option of both using their trusted community bank
as well as the advantage of having access to the unique programs, such as down payment and closing cost assistance that IFA offers.
There are currently more than 400 lender locations throughout the state that offer IFA’s
mortgage and entry-cost assistance products to Iowans. IFA joined Community Bankers of Iowa to ensure that community banks are
aware of the advantages that IFA offers as well as the opportunity to participate in the programs.
IFA offers a variety of programs for first-time and repeat home buyers, including opportunities for qualified military personnel.
